American Standard Heat Pumps

The total heating and cooling solution!

An American Standard Heritage® heat pump works all year ‘round, cooling your home in the summer and heating it in the winter. But, unlike a furnace, a heat pump doesn’t burn natural gas to create heat. It uses electricity.

The Heat Pump is matched with an Freedon furnace. When the outdoor temperature drops below about 35 degrees F., the heat pump stops and the furnace will takeover the task of heating the home. Since Washington & Oregon has experienced the severe increases in natural gas prices, you will find the Hybrid System to be extremely cost effective to operate. The full line of heat pumps offer efficiencies of 8.3 to 9.65 HSPF, and 13 to 17.65 SEER.
